Ms. Eisenstein spoke to two (2) of Ms. Hazelwood’s 6th grade AAP single gender classes about the Writing Process and how to become a published author!

 

A Logan Elementary School Visit with Children’s Book Author Ann E. Eisenstein introducing  HIDING CARLY

Ms. Eisenstein visited with  fourth and fifth graders at Logan Elementary School in Columbia, SC. She discussed the process of writing HIDING CARLY. Ms. Waites’, AAP teacher at Logan, gave each of her AAP students a copy of HIDING CARLY, which they read and studied in class. The rest of the children were provided a copy of the book through special funds. An opportunity for book signing and questions followed the presentation.



Crayton Middle School Literacy Group

Ann Eisenstein visited Ms. Allendorf’s Literacy group at Crayton Middle School to discuss her new novel, HIDING CARLY. She stayed for a while to chat with other students about her novel and answering questions.

Ann spoke to Ms. Helen Schell’s Creative Writing class on April 18, 2012. The visit began with an introduction and a recap of her recent visit to The FBI Academy in Quantico, VA and FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC. She presented a Power Point Presentation on The Writing Process, including what it means to be an author.  They have so much to talk about Ms Schell and her Creative Writers have invited Ann back next week!
