Fallen Prey

Fallen Prey Cover

Twelve-year-old Junior Special Agent Sean Gray is in a race against time. Could there be a connection between his testimony in the trial of an international child kidnapping ring and his mysterious accident?

While the sheriff’s department and the FBI are investigating, his new friend, Gabby, gets caught in the web of an online predator and disappears. She’s been missing for more than 48 hours, and the authorities have not been able to find her.

Sean goes undercover to bait the mysterious hunter. But when he becomes the prey, how will he rescue her?

Successfully writing a “second in the series” novel is no easy task, but author Ann Eisenstein has done a masterful job in Fallen Prey. For middle grade readers to adults, Fallen Prey is a compelling story that accomplishes the rare feat of standing on its own, while still effectively inter-weaving with, and complimenting, Hiding Carly, book one in the Sean Gray Junior Special Agent Mystery series. Readers will make a solid connection with loveable Sean Gray as he finds himself involved in another mystery and is faced with many of the real world relationships, challenges, and dangers our kids encounter in today’s technology-saturated society. Dynamic dialogue, realistic characters, and exciting action sequences make this an engaging book for students, classroom teachers, and families.

A good book for people of all ages. Great story and also learned some things about the use of the internet. I would consider this a must read for early teens. Ann Eisenstein is a wonderful author.

This book is written about a topic that our young people need to take seriously. The world of technology is incredibly scary knowing what children are exposed to in this day and age. I am MOST appreciative to Ann Eisenstein for writing this outstanding book about a real problem in today’s world. Thank you!! Keep writing!!!

Book #2 is awesome, a real-page turner, shocker and nail-biter! Now I can’t wait for #3. Sean Gray is a character we could follow into adulthood. I’m happy to be working with such a talented author.

Fallen Prey is the second book in this series and well worth the read for teen group, as well as adults. The story line is believable, characters worth getting to know, and the book moves along. I didn’t see that last paragraph coming, and can’t wait for number three of Sean Gray and his friends. I appreciated the story within a story about online chat rooms and the ten dangers to be aware of at the beginning of the book.

This is the second book written by Ms. Eisenstein—- finished in a matter of hours! As a pediatric nurse, it’s an entertaining and educational book about Tweens and some of the dangers they face in the 21st century. The characters are engaging and believable and the “grown-up” talk reminds me of what I say when I use my “mom voice”. Can’t wait for the next book!

Shelia Holdford

Young Sean has a way of trouble finding him and a great way of solving the mysteries. This book is great for the young and the young at heart. I found it to be captivating and can hardly wait for his next great adventure. I can see this series going right on to Sean becoming a star crime solver and even a senior FBI agent someday. Until then I anxiously await this authors next book. Praises to the author. Finding Carly was great this was was equally great. Bravo!
